Honoring Those Who Have Served With Quality Home Care

At Eldercare, we are proud to support our nation’s veterans by providing compassionate in-home care and assisting with VA benefits. We have helped thousands of veterans arrange reimbursement through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)—a small way to show our deep appreciation for their service.

Financial Assistance for Veterans & Surviving Spouses

Many veterans and their spouses may qualify for a unique VA benefit called Pension with Aid and Attendance,” which can provide up to $25,440 per year to help cover home care services. Unfortunately, millions of eligible individuals miss out on this crucial support simply because they are unaware of it.

Through our partnership with Veterans Care Coordination, we help veterans and their families navigate the application process, ensuring they receive the financial assistance they deserve. Additionally, the Veterans Appreciation Program can provide upfront financial assistance for those unable to cover initial home care costs.

Who Qualifies for Veterans Benefits?

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Veteran or Surviving Spouse: Served 90 consecutive days of active duty, with at least one day during a wartime period (eligibility may vary based on service dates).
  • Non-Service-Connected Medical Condition: The need for care must not be related to military service.
  • Daily Living Assistance Required: The veteran or spouse must need help with activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, medication management, or personal care.
  • Financial Eligibility: Income and assets must meet VA requirements (excludes home and car).
  • Medical Expense-to-Income Ratio: Out-of-pocket medical expenses must exceed a certain percentage of income.

If you or a loved one is a veteran in need of quality home care, don’t miss out on this valuable VA benefit. Contact us today to learn more about eligibility and how we can assist you in securing the care you need.
