Next Best Thing to Family
We’ve been caring for our community for over 40 years. In that time we’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with caregivers and supporting team members who genuinely care for others and hope to make a difference in the lives of those they care for. In fact, we view ourselves as an extension of your family. As part of our ElderCare Promise, we will seek to match your family with the right caregiver for your loved one who will provide professional care and companionship with compassion.
Meet Our Team
Jessica is a life-long resident of Southeastern North Carolina and has been with Eldercare At Home since 2013. Jessica displays a natural, genuine, caring disposition. She shows that through communication and follow-through with every client, family, and nurse working with you or your loved one. That is what builds trust in that relationship. In her free time, she leads or participants in many charitable organizations that are close to her heart. As part of the matching process between the nurse and you or your loved one,she looks to find the right fit, sets up a meet and greet visit, and ensures there is a connection. She builds the schedule one month or longer ahead of time, so you know what to expect with who is coming into your home.
Susan Miller, RN
Director of Nursing
Susan Miller is an RN, but also our Director of Nursing here at Eldercare At Home. She has been a nurse for more 34 years and loves listening to stories shared by patients. Susan was inspired to become a nurse by hearing the stories from her two aunts, who both served as nurses during WWII. Naturally, Susan started her career working in hospitals and spent many years as a travel nurse in Hawaii and the Florida Keys. Because of her love for the water, Susan decided to move to Wilmington 10 years ago and started working in long-term. She now serves as an important member of our team here at Eldercare!
