Our response to the COVID-19 health pandemic as we continue to provide in home care for our most vulnerable senior population in Wilmington, Leland, NC and surrounding areas.
ElderCare at Home is dedicated to being a reliable resource in our communities and that has never been more important than now as we face the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our clients and our employees is our upmost priority. We implemented strict protocols early on to ensure that we could safely care for all who choose ElderCare as their in-home senior care provider. These protocols meet and exceed all CDC and Joint Commission guidelines and recommendations. This includes daily screening of all employees and clients and appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE). We are and will continue to closely monitor the situation.
Our office is open and fully staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Precautions are taking to ensure our administrative staff members have a safe working environment. If you need to visit our offices, you will be asked a couple of screening questions related to COVID-19 symptoms and your temperature will be taken. We have an exceptional staff of dedicated caregivers that have the skills and knowledge, as well as the protective equipment (PPE) to provide our clients with the quality care they deserve in the comfort and safety of their own home. We are so thankful for their dedication and professionalism.
